Thanks to the use of a separate liner, your horse’s regular rugs can be easily adapted to lower temperatures. The lightly padded “Rhyolite” liner provides extra warmth without adding extra weight to the muscles. The lining is breathable and has a smooth surface, which prevents chafing.

“Rhyolite” is equipped with Welltex® material, which can support blood circulation by reflecting the body’s own heat as infrared energy. This can help relax muscles, reduce stiffness, and be beneficial for conditions such as osteoarthritis. This liner is also great for warming up before riding and as support during recovery. “Rhyolite” has Velcro fastenings at the neck and tail for easy attachment to the “Obsidian” outdoor rug, clips at the back, and a fixing kit for other rugs.
