How does this bridle work?
It works by applying pressure to the horse's nose and cheeks, with the reins attached directly to special rings on the noseband. This allows you to easily guide and stop your horse. An additional small leather strap ensures that the noseband stays in place.
Sidepull and rope halters with knots
The F.R.A. 3 system includes both sidepulls and rope halters with knots. The sidepull features a leather noseband ending in rings for the chin strap and cheekpieces. You attach the reins to these same rings, allowing for more precise guidance. Rope halters with knots are available in various thicknesses (6 mm, 7 mm, 8 mm) and sizes, with options for nubuck or leather head and nose protection.
Correct fit
Ensure that the noseband sits on the hard part of the nose, where the nasal bone begins. The sidepull's chin strap must fit snugly but not be too tight. This prevents the bridle from rotating while riding.
Usage and benefits
The F.R.A. bridle is ideal for sensitive horses as well as young horses that are just beginning to be trained. It is simple to use for both beginners and experienced riders.
