Enjoy maximum safety: the uvex exxential III MIPS helmet combines the lightness of in-mould technology with the proven Multi-Directional Impact Protection System. The idea behind MIPS, developed in Sweden, is to protect the human brain from rotational forces during an accident. To this end, a second, movable shell is placed inside the uvex exxential III MIPS helmet, between the inner lining and the outer helmet shell. It sits directly on the head and can be adjusted for optimal height and width fit. Additional protection: when a rider falls at an angle, the resulting rotational force is not transferred to the head, but is dissipated through the movement of the inner MIPS shell. Furthermore, the ergonomic design with a lower-cut helmet shell provides additional protection for the back of the head. A practical additional feature is the ponytail cutout, making the helmet much more comfortable for riders with long hair.
The helmet meets the EN1384-2023 safety standard.
